How does “harmless” laser treatment work? We have an answer.

Dr. Luttrull is the discoverer and developer of “high-density / low-intensity subthreshold diode micropulse laser” (SDM). This laser treatment for retinal disease is the first clinically harmless treatment (for anything) (meaning there are no known adverse effects, side-effects or complications). In important retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy, ARMD, central serous chorioretinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, and other disorders, SDM has been shown to be at least as effective as older more dangerous laser treatments and even drug therapy. In collaboration with physicist David B Chang, PhD, photochemist David Luttrull, PhD, and engineer Benjamin Margolis, Dr. Luttrull will soon be reporting and publishing a new theory that explains how this miraculous treatment works. This theory will have important implications for the future management of the most important retinal diseases.
